Over the last few months, we’ve been busy working on an exciting new project with global e-learning company Kineo, a City & Guilds Group business, to bring the best of MicroLearn’s content to Kineo’s product portfolio. We’re really excited about the direction the partnership is taking and asked the team at Kineo how they feel about working with MicroLearn:

M: What influenced your decision to work with MicroLearn?

A: Content partners are hugely important to us, and making sure we work with businesses that we really connect with is critical.
MicroLearn’s design methodology of bitesize learning fits well with our vision of creating personalised, highly curated learning experiences that suit each and every learner, allowing them to reach their full potential. As businesses, we are similarly dedicated to using cutting edge technology to deliver learning resources, in order to create the most impactful learning experience.
Crucially, they have been open and flexible in their approach, mirroring our own approach to partnerships, that the best work comes about only when they are truly collaborative.

M: What does the content look like?

A: We’ll be using a number of MicroLearn courses as part of our new offer. They fit seamlessly within the rest of our library, covering topics that are not within our current portfolio, such as an excellent bite-sized course on Modern Slavery. Together we are able to offer the full suite of content that our customers want, and that we wouldn’t be able to do apart.
Both businesses are committed to growing the offer further, and with MicroLearn’s track record of developing content that customers want, there are sure to be plenty more opportunities ahead.

M: What can organisations and learners expect?

A: MicroLearn demonstrates a level of quality in their learning design that matches the Kineo focus on quality. The way we build our content is extremely similar, so learners can expect the same type of experience whatever the subject matter and whichever brand developed it. It comes back to that commitment to a seamless learning experience that is as effective as possible.

M: What do you hope we can achieve together?

A: Our ambition is to serve up the right content, at the right time, to the right people. It’s as simple as that. MicroLearn captures it well with the phrase, asking the direct question: we all learn differently, so why should all learning be the same?
Similarly, everything we do at Kineo stems from a simple idea: if we design a better experience, together we’ll get better results. And the more we can create workplace learning that makes sense to those who do it every day, the more we give them what they need to do a great job and with the improvement to their own performance comes the improvement to their organisation and ultimately, the economic performance which is common to us all.
