As August is National Road Victim month, we’ve chosen Driving at Work as our Module of the Month.
The annual campaign was created by Road Peace, the national charity for road crash victims, to remember those who have been killed or injured on the roads. The charity seeks to raise awareness of the need to make UK roads safer.
The Driving at Work course was designed to focus on three main elements…driver safety, vehicle safety and journey safety. It covers maximum permissible driving hours, the need for well-maintained vehicles and control measures to help reduce the likelihood of an accident, for example taking regular breaks on long journeys to combat fatigue.
