An annual event designed to encourage people to take simple steps towards a healthier lifestyle, the 3rd of April marks this year’s National Walk to Work Day.
Walk to Work Day is a chance to change up your routine, take it slower and see how a healthier start to your morning can lead to a more efficient and fulfilling day. In this age of growing awareness about how being sedentary affects our health, walking to work can make a huge difference in our lives, and our lifespans.
Walking is a great way to burn calories, raise your heart rate and clear your mind. With the clocks changing and the mornings getting lighter, there’s no better time to get involved and take the opportunity to walk to work, to school or just take a stroll on your lunch break!
To recognise National Walk to Work Day, we’ve chosen our Everyday Energy module as April’s Module of the Month. As part of our popular Workplace Wellbeing range, this module explores the four key areas of energy, physical, emotional, mental and spiritual and looks at how these energy levels can be increased and maintained.
