After a busy time at the Learning Technologies Expo in London, we’re now back in the office and reflecting on MircoLearn’s official launch. Nerves were high as the team waited for the first visitors to the stand on Wednesday morning, but they soon disappeared as the response to our content was overwhelmingly positive.
MicroLearn’s ethos, “we all learn differently, so why should we all learn the same?’ proved popular with potential clients, who liked the idea that we offer a range of resources for each course, from which they can choose the one that works best for them.
These resources start with the Module which contains a video, extended learning and quiz, and can then be deconstructed into a VideoPLUS (a video and a quiz) or they could simply use the Video.
Our stand design told the story of how we create our content and provided the team with a conversation starter, as they explained to visitors how our in-house skill base enables us to create both high quality off-the-shelf and, where necessary, bespoke content.
People also jumped at the opportunity to become one of our MicroLearn character’s, posing in our ‘head-in-the-hole’ stand while their picture was taken to before they were added to our wall of fame.
During the show, there was an opportunity to win £5,000 worth of content and a bottle of champagne. Over 50 people entered the competition, with MicroLearn’s CEO, Steve Soper, randomly drawing the winner earlier this week.
We’re pleased to announce that Dan Whiteley from the Card Factory is the lucky recipient and we hope he enjoys exploring his brand-new eLearning content.
Learning Technologies was a successful show for the MicroLearn team and we’d like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who came along and spoke to us.
