It’s been a busy few days at the CIPD L&D show at London’s Olympia exhibition centre, and we’re now back at our desks, reflecting on the event where the response to MicroLearn content was very encouraging.
With microlearning a hot trend in the eLearning industry, our stand drew a lot of attention, with visitors asking what microlearning means to us and how it can be applied in their workplaces.
The answer: we focus on creating content that lasts no longer that 15 minutes, is fully responsive and is designed to suit the needs of today’s fast-paced work environments.
All MicroLearn courses start with the module, which contains a video, extended learning and a quiz. But if times short, it can then be deconstructed into the shorter VideoPlus (video and quiz) or just a Video.
With lots of interesting and inspiring people giving talks and exploring the stands, the atmosphere was fantastic, and the show offered us a great opportunity to share our content creation story.
Visitors were impressed by our in-house skill base, which enables us to create both a high quality off-the-shelf catalogue, and increasingly bespoke content.
What’s more, with Learning at Work Week starting on Monday, we offered everyone who came to the stand, the chance to access all our Modules, for FREE, for the week. The response was incredible, with over 50 organisations’ signing up!
The CIPD L&D show was a great success for the MicroLearn team and we’d like to thank everyone who came along and said hello!
