Posted June 6th, 2017

Volunteers Week, June 1-7, is an annual event celebrating the contribution of people who give up their time to volunteer with a wide range of charities and organisations across the UK.

Every month 15.2 million people volunteer in a variety of roles, including working with a local community group, helping to run an event or training a guide dog.

Volunteering is beneficial for both the individual and the organisation, but in a competitive market how do you both attract and keep volunteers?

Well, we’ve created a short video that highlights the importance of choosing the right volunteer for your organisation, how best to utilise their abilities and recognise their contributions.

Remember, volunteers don’t work for free because they’re worthless…but because they’re priceless.
