As the UN celebrates its sixth International Day of Charity on September 5, we’ve selected our Value & Purpose course as Module of the Month.
First commemorated in 2012, the International Day of Charity encourages people to support charitable organisations worldwide and marks the anniversary of the death of Mother Teresa, who dedicated her own life to improving the lives of others.
Research has shown that individuals who have found meaning and purpose in their life feel happier, more in control and fulfilled.
Charitable work and volunteering are great ways of achieving this, as adding value to someone else’s life will also bring immeasurable value to your own!
Forming part of the Workplace Wellbeing range, the Value & Purpose module, created in collaboration with the Learning Architect Liggy Webb, explores the influence our values can have, how they can shape our decisions and how they define our purpose both today and in our future.
